MARRIAGE CEREMONIES

The Islamic Community Center of Phoenix will gladly conduct Islamic marriage ceremonies. The following instructions and guidelines are required to conduct an Islamic marriage. Please try to follow them and if you have any questions, please contact us.

A) Contact the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix ahead of time to schedule an appointment for marriage.
B) The following individuals must be present:

   1. The groom and the bride.
   2. Two male Muslim witnesses.
   3. A guardian (Wali) for the Muslim bride.

C) Bring the following documents to the appointment:
  
   1. The original copy of the Arizona Marriage License.
   2. Proper photo identification for the groom, the bride, the witnesses, and the guardian.

D) The fee is $150.00 and should be paid as a donation in Cash or Check to the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix.

The Islamic Community Center of Phoenix will complete and sign the Arizona Marriage License, mail it to the Clerk of Court, and will issue an Islamic Marriage Certificate.
